Hey, LAPD: Didn't Work In France; Why Assume It Would Work Here?

Merely announcing you're doing something isn't the same as doing something actually productive.
From a New York Times story on the capture of the Islamist scum who mass-murdered unarmed "infidels" as they dined and listened to music:
Ms. Khaldi said she was not surprised the police had tracked the suspects to the neighborhood. She said a friend of hers believed she had seen one of the wanted men, Salah Abdeslam, on Monday. "She was terrified and she looked at another woman knowing that she recognized him too," Ms. Khaldi said. "They did not dare to go to the police."
From the CBS story in the tweet:
"This was a barbaric act, and it's got no place in our religion," said Ehsan Khan of the Islamic Center Northridge.
Yawnies. Violent jihad gets you on the express path to salvation. It's in that Quranie thingie.
And the later, violent passages, after Mohammed got power abrogate -- as in, nullify -- the earlier peacie-weasy, interfaithy passages.
As Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan Al-Banna put it in his treatise, "Jihad":
The verses of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Muhammad (PBUH {Peace Be Unto Him}) are overflowing with all these noble ideals and they summon people in general (with the most eloquent expression and the clearest exposition) to jihad, to warfare, to the armed forces, and all means of land and sea fighting.
Awww...!
COEXIST!, ya'll!

In any relationship, from the personal all the way up to the national, it takes two to coexist. It only takes one to conflict.

My 70 year old mother, who is a peacable hippie, who voted for Obama TWICE (yeah, holidays are fun around here) is on her way to the gun shop to buy a gun to carry. Because "if they'd HAD guns, they could have tried to defend themselves!". She is also very, very opposed to bringing the refugees to the US. So if SHE can wake up to reality, maybe there's hope for the US. Maybe.
LAPD is idiotic.

Why, I'm sure the #Muslim community in LA would never lie to LAPD.

momof4, make sure your mom takes her piece to the gun range and gets used to it. It does take some skill to be able to put ordinance down range and to hit what you aim at.
Or, to put it another way, gun control is using both hands.

Hard to "co-exist" when your goal is to live in peace and their goal is to exterminate you.

Is this the same LAPD whose efforts at minority outreach gave us the Zoot Suit riots, the Watts riots, and the Rodney King riots?

Putting on my Southern grammarian hat to pick a minor nit: It's "y'all." It's a contraction for you all. I don't know what "ya'll" is.
Southernisms escape most non-Southerners, especially Northern writers (and sometimes Southern writers). Because Southerners sometimes speak in exaggerated syllable counts and words that seem made up, it can be tough to render their dialogue in written form.
Gregory McDonald wrote a sequel to his popular Fletch series and set it in rural Tennessee. His characters kept greeting each other with "ha." It took me a few chapters to figure out he meant "hey." I didn't understand why his characters were greeting each other with a grunt.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said "I want to be the white man's brother, not his brother-in-law" to assure white folks that his intentions were honorable and the he wanted coexistence.
Funny how you don't see those COEXIST bumper stickers on cars in downtown Damascus or Baghdad.

Apparently a black market for real assault rifles is developing in gun free Europe.

I said it before; if the Muslims were really concerned and really cared about their proper place in the civilized world THEY would reach out BEFORE shit happens; not make excuses about "religion of peace" afterwards.
In the meantime, a friendly game between Greece and Turkey where some Turkish fans booed during the moment of silence for those murdered in Paris:

So much for the "peaceful majority."
I wouldn't mind it if we buried the dead terrorists with pig's blood; those that object, we know to be our enemy and not the "peaceful" Muslims who believe that the terrorist are NOT of the same religion. (I mean, if they truly believe that the terrorist are NOT the same religion then they should not object to they way we dispose of the dead terrorist, no?)
And while we are at it; let's take back the Hagia Sophia and make it once again a Christian place of worship. Again, those that object we know to be our enemy. Fuck 'em.

Has the " be nice and they'll turn in the bad ones" ever worked with a community? Cops whose sworn duty is to turn in bad cops rarely do let alone any other group

If I buy a "Coexist" bumper sticker from Amazon using Amy's link, does the Internet melt or something? :)

Has any country in Europe been more hospitable to Muslim immigrants than France?
Is any country in Europe doing more to help Muslim refugees than Germany?
Snakes bite.
