Rey, from the latest Star Wars, is a great feminist because she isn't:

Rey doesn't "depict" a strong woman. She is one. She's a product of her environment, focused on what someone in her circumstances would naturally focus on. Gender isn't on her mind. Survival is. In this way, her story unwittingly highlights the absurdity of modern gender controversy. People focused on survival, which is to say people preoccupied by the cold facts of reality, don't spend time "identifying" one way or the other. They simply are.

That's exactly what it means to be strong -- to be unselfconsciously strong. I don't call myself a feminist, in part because I am also for men's rights (for human rights, really). But another reason I don't is that I don't identify as a victim. I feel powerful and recognize that I am "privileged" by being an American woman in 2015.
