Yes, we are totally unprepared here in Los Angeles for the sky to let out more than a single tear. But you do have to admit that it's pretty here.

The best part of a rainy night in a large city is that the next day the sky is pretty clear.
Also, why is everybody obsessed with palm trees? A custard Apple tree is much prettier.

Not really. I can see urban clutter in a thousand places in the USA.
But I'm from a state where three miles was too far to drive to Wal-Mart, so five acres of barrier island and scrub-jay habitat had to go...

Better the rain wash the trash cans down the street than a snow plow pushing them down the street and burying them under a mound of snow at the end of the block.
