Indiana Jones 1,2,&3 dealt with mystical, supernatural religious artifacts and they way they bent reality
#4 had boardroom of trans dimensional alien architects and civil engineers powerful enough to cross universes and smart enough to teach cave men how to build buildings (who the fuck thought this was a good idea?!?) capable of withstanding earthquakes in a way we still cant in 2016, yet too stupid to prevent one of their heads from being stolen, and too powerless to leave this universe without said head or get it back on their own over the course of several thousand years.
In 1976, when she was only 26 years old, Keiko Takemiya began a comic series that proved to be a ground-breaking moment for Japanese manga. Called Kaze to Kino Uta (The Poem of Wind and Trees), it opens with two naked teenage boys in a 19th Century French boarding school lying on top of each other, post-coital.
Another Russian defector to the U.S. is assassinated. In Washington no less, right under the CIA's nose. This after the White House was caught totally flat-footed by the Russian withdrawal from Syria. Putin is mopping the floor with Obama.
I dunno, Gog, he's just reaping what he sowed not so long ago when he was in the Senate and pledged to block any nominee's GWB might submit. As a reminder (Article 2, Section 2):
The President shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate...shall appoint...Judges of the supreme Court
Not having hearings is advise that consent is not granted. It isn't up to the President to set the rules of the Senate. I think he found that out when he tried to put some "recess" appointments on the NLR Board when the Senate wasn't actually in recess.

In news you didn't know you can use, your sex toys might be hackable:
Sadly, the current state of the "internet of things" (IoT) is that security seems to be a afterthought. I mean, it always has been because security is hard, and making cool things easy to do is, well, cool, but I don't need a Russian cybercriminal who hacked a Chinese server to control my lights, thankyouverymuch.
Somewhere, SkyNet smiles. Also, if SkyNet wanted to eliminate the human race, the best way to do that would be to introduce holodeck technology. Then men could have sex at any time, with any constructed person, place, or critter. With the added benefit of no STIs, including children.
The Usual Suspects would complain that this is simply promoting a culture of rape and even claim to be victims of such a culture even if no man is propositioning them.
It is not “surprising” because the economy is not healthy – the government has managed the US economy into an unsustainable position of false prosperity built on a financial house of cards. And CNN has the gall to blame these auto loan delinquencies on job loss in the oil industry? The display of a graph that indicates high delinquent payments in states with employment in the oil industry is a tremendous fail. These are also the states that have been relying heavily on a bubble economy (financial, stock market, employment, etc.) brought about by the oil industry to drive false prosperity, and folks in those states are therefore much more indulgent of the ‘have-pulse-will-buy’ mentality on such items as houses and cars.
Researchers from education non-profit ETS compared test results of Americans with their peers in more than 20 advanced economies. The results pointed to an alarming trend, as young workers and students between the ages of 16 and 34 lagged far behind their peers in countries like Japan and Sweden in mathematical understanding and literacy. The report says that the results were even more surprising because millennials “have attained the most years of schooling of any cohort in American history.”

This too. The lyrics are for shit, but heeeeyyyyy, it was the sixties. Those chord changes are not what pop listeners were expecting out of typical rock records.
Cetera spent the sunset of his career singing soap opera ballads, but that's some serious-assed bass playing. And that voice is angelic, especially at about 4:12 on the YouTube. We'll hear him at the gates of heaven....

You're saying it's not true? That's not a credible observation. The Obama White House has been demanding that the CIA and CENTCOM feed them nothing but Happy Meals, and they have complied. Thus, Obama really believes that he has contained ISIS and that we are winning in Libya. After all, no one will tell him different.

GOP fighting hard against the President executing his responsibility as stated in the Constitution.
And let's be clear - this is NOT a blatant power move designed to maintain a Republican-approved conservative majority on the Supreme Court, okay?
It's just not. So shut up. No, YOU shut up.
