Gregg, for the record, loves squirrels, and used to have a squirrel cam at his mom's house in Detroit. Elmore Leonard fed the squirrels at his house macadamia nuts. (Gregg's squirrels only got peanuts, though he would make bacon for the lonely pit bull next door. This is sort of thing that makes me love this sweet man, who also just took the glass off my Mac with suction cups and replaced my hard drive.)
