In the NR article, the author simply defines "fake news" narrowly, thereby avoiding the fact that it happens all the time in major publications.
E.g.:
*pointing out something that Trump has or does, while omitting that all his predecessors had it or did it
*omitting to investigate certain stories, because it would make the Democrats or Clinton look bad
*omitting race of a criminal if the crime is done by a minority, but making a big deal of race if the crime is done by a white person
*hastily publishing something without investigation that later out turns out to be wrong, then not retracting the article, or retracting it in as discrete a manner as possible
"In free societies, monuments to tyranny have no place."
The answer to this conundrum is that equating Robert E. Lee to Joe Stalin is a false moral equivalence, and the situation is -- dare I say it -- a lot more nuanced than that. Besides, most of the people who want those statues removed would be perfectly happy to erect a statue of Stalin.

I wonder how a self-identified Chinese-American can comment on the authenticity of Japanese cuisine?
Hint: if it's cooked here, it probably isn't that authentic. Not even her momma's home cooking, which I'm sure has been tweaked to make do with items commonly found here.

Someone in Iceland tried to assassinate Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch. Fortunately, he survived.

Wondering if millennials were shocked and/or offended at the revelation that smiling doesn't win you gold medals.

It's too late IRA. Funny to me. One last "You are special." event.
