Women's Marchers Too Busy Boycotting Israel, Where Women Have Autonomy, To Care About Saudi Women Having All The Rights Of Pets
Story in the LA Times about Saudi women, who live under male guardianship laws, basically as the possessions of the adult men in their lives.
Molly Hennessy-Fiske writes about a 35-year-old Saudi woman, Maha Almutairi, who has a secret apartment. She can't live there; she can only visit. And it costs half her monthly salary:
At 35, like most unmarried Saudi women, she still officially lives at home. Her father decides what can and can't happen in his home. Decisions about what she will study, where she will work, all are subject to her father's permission....Under Saudi Arabia's strict guardianship laws, which King Salman has recently pledged to review, women must obtain permission from a male guardian -- a father, husband or in some cases even a son -- to apply for a passport, travel abroad or marry.
Often, they need such consent even to get a job or obtain medical care.
Some women try to defy the system, fleeing to another country or defiantly renting an apartment on their own, where they can live under their own roof. In many of these cases, though, the women have been charged with running away and jailed.
Almutairi knew it would be useless to ask her father for permission to rent an apartment where she could keep her cats. He'd never agree.
So she got a secret apartment.
An apartment rental app offered a variety of places in Riyadh, and it was operated by a property management company that does not require a guardian's approval for a lease -- many common restrictions on women, including housing, are matters not of law, but social custom.
Almutairi figured it wouldn't count as running away if she rented an apartment, but stayed there only part time.
And Linda Sarsour is marching against Israel?
That's the only part of the Middle East where women have full rights and personhood, and are not treated as wrongdoers (or as an Australian cleric referred to them, "uncovered meat") if they don't hide at home under cover of a big black tent.
Because it's not about women's rights. It's about having the politically correct viewpoint, being on the side of the SJWs. And Palestine has been selected as the victim du jour, thus Israel must be on the side of the oppressors and opposed.

Yeah, the feminist movement goes full anti-Semite. The sad thing is, a lot of American Jewish women will still support it. Just like a lot of Christians will still donate money to churches who in turn tithe organizations that support "liberation theology".

Why waste time trying to put out a an out of control forest fire when you can concentrate all your efforts on putting out a fire going nowhere in a waste bin!

Some time back, Tammy Bruce said that organized feminism exists to support progressive causes.
If a woman's issue supports progressive causes, the feminists are on it like white on rice. See Crystal Mangum. If a woman's issue does not support progressive causes, it doesn't exist. See Katie Rouse (aka "who"?).

Islam and the Prophet (PBUH) is best life for women who by wisdom of Prophet (PBUH) who has made rules to protect women from bead men who look at them and would touch them, provide them shelter with strong man, and give home. West women have no protection, are at risk from looking and and touching by men all time, and expos to rape all time because they have no rules by Prophet (PbUH) to keep them home safe. All women will be safe and happy when Quaran is over them giving them Prophet (PBUH) protected life. The Prophet (PBUH) was good man who took many women under his protection.
