Apparently the gender-swap retelling violates two key (false) claims of the Female Supremacist narrative: That women are totally peaceful and a world (or island) ruled by women would have no conflict, and that women all get along with each other. Which by the way seems to be an aspiration they wish to will into being by simply insisting that it's the reality. The stridency of the propaganda on this point has a real The Lady Doth Protest Too Much quality to it -- they seem to know that many women just do not get along, but want to imagineer a new reality into existence by claiming the world is other than it is.
