All I can say is that I'm glad I don't live in Alabama have to decide how to vote. On the other hand, the GOPe worked very hard to make sure Mo Brooks didn't win the primary.
The race to the Title IX compliance officer's inbox has commenced! Be the first to file, and you may come out ahead!!
But this punishment? no one expects the Title IX workshop inquisition!
Rzepecki later accused Rullo of making false allegations, and both the Title IX office and a review board found her responsible for dating violence under the code of conduct. She was suspended until this fall, put on disciplinary probation and forced to take a Title IX workshop.
On the Moore thing, it was 40 fricken years ago. I just don't care anymore. Statue of limitations has passed. Everything was consensual and with parental approval. Meh.

Remember this when someone complains that Congress isn't doing anything and that they should do something. There are other bills related to data collection on school children, and it all flows together.
Odds of the FedGov keeping this data to themselves and either not getting hacked or incurring breeches: 0.
The Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act (FEPA) (H.R. 4174) would create a “unified evidence-building plan” for the entire federal government. In essence, that’s a national database containing data from every federal agency on every citizen, ostensibly to make sure Congress is spending money on programs that work (snort).
...
Although the concept of data collection can be somewhat esoteric, as part of my testimony to the legislature, I created several flow charts to show how data is collected and travels through the systems currently related to K-12 education. If you study these and choose to follow up on the research it took to create them, there will be no doubt in your mind that American government is well underway in the endeavor toward creating a fully surveilled society. This should scare us all.
"All I can say is that I'm glad I don't live in Alabama have to decide how to vote. On the other hand, the GOPe worked very hard to make sure Mo Brooks didn't win the primary."
Very very true. The GOPe screwed the pooch when the national party spent millions to make sure Brooks, the closest thing to a libertarian in Alabama politics, didn't win, to the exclusion of campaigning against Moore. Now it's entirely possible that the Alabama voters will elect Moore anyway just to send a giant "fuck you" to Washington. The Democrat, Doug Jones, has (mostly) presented an image of moderation, but we all know how that goes with Democrat candidates in red states.
The GOPe is making a lot of noise about the Senate denying Moore his seat if he wins. What happens after that is not clear. The national party would love for McConnell protege Luther Strange to be appointed to the seat, But Kay Ivey, the current Alabama governor, I don't think will go along with that stunt (not if she values her political future). And that's assuming that the state constitution permits someone to be appointed to this circumstance. It's quite possible that the seat will have to be left vacant, and so Alabama will be under-represented in the Senate. Fortunately, this is all to fill the seat that Jeff Sessions vacated, and it's up for election next year anyway. So it may not matter all that much, from the state's perspective. It will matter a heck of a lot at the national perspective if it causes the GOP to lose their Senate majority.

Do you feel that way about Juanita Broaddrick?

Juanita Broaddrick was consensual? Kinda makes a difference Crid. Which is why I included that in my post. But whatever. We all know you are just being stupidly butthurt and emotional. You need to get over things Crid. I can't afford to keep paying rent on that little room in your head I seem to be living in.

"Consensual with parental approval."
That's weird.
It might be fun to parse that in a court of law.
Roy Moore may well get that chance.

Then take it to court Crid. I know you are older than dirt and think that 40 years is a short blink of an eye. But for most of us that is half of a human lifetime. If a crime happened then take it to court. Don't wait 40 years and then just before an election come out with a bunch of stories that cannot be verified before the vote happens.
Either way you live in California Crid. Quite frankly it is none of your fucking business. I live in Texas. None of my business either. This is for the courts and voters of Alabama to decide.

Why not, they can steal the money you earn, they can waive your right to sue for damages, they can force you to get surgeries you dont want and block you from getting care you do want.
