Whoever wins the WH, it's been a surprise that Dems — with authority throughout administrative government — didn't steal the thing like a kid pocketing a Snickers from a drug store.

Erk, sorry for the double post. My internet connection is kinda wonky thanks to hurricane Eta.
Anyway, voter fraud or it just happens that the audience would rather vote for a dead guy:
In the states that haven't finished, it looks like Trump enjoys the lead in the states with the most electoral votes, so I would say Trump's got this.
What I dislike about Biden: "Antifa is just an idea." Yeah, where there's a lot of little ideas running around making cities like Portland and Seattle difficult to work in. That statement is cowardly and disingenuous.
Kamala Harris: Good God! Was this dingbat really the best non-white woman the Democrats could come up with???
Donald Trump's fatal flaw: Never met a conspiracy theory he doesn't believe.

Good God! Was this dingbat really the best non-white woman the Democrats could come up with??? ~ Patrick at November 4, 2020 4:22 AM
I don't get her trajectory. She was a mediocre-to-awful DA in San Francisco. She was a mediocre-to-awful AG in California. She's been a mediocre-to-awful Senator. She must have pictures of someone high up in the DNC.
She slept her way into her first job in politics - a committee to which her then boyfriend, Willie Brown, appointed her. It came with a $400,000 salary. She was Willie's arm candy at various Democratic functions throughout California when he was Speaker. This gave her an in with San Francisco's four families: the Guggenheims, the Browns (former governors - not related to Willie), the Pelosis (Speaker of the House), and the Newsoms (current governor).
Kamala's improbable rise prompts speculation about a San Francisco power grab. I wonder who is planned to be Kamala's VP when she kicks Joe to the curb. Could it be Gavin Newsom? Of course, there's an election to win first.

Thank you for the history, Conan. I had heard something about this, but never researched it. It is certainly damning evidence, but as I said, I knew very little about it, so it wasn't influencing my opinion on her very much.
My revulsion comes from an interview that I cannot find right now. (It would help if I knew who the interviewer was. I seems to recall it was a blonde, white woman.)
But basically, she was being asked some relatively hardball questions, like about her statements regarding Joe Biden during the democratic debates for nomination. She had some harsh words for him. The interviewer, quite reasonably, pointed out the logical inconsistency of Harris' anti-Biden rhetoric and her willingness to be his running mate.
Harris's response left me extremely repulsed. It basically boiled down to, "Oh, you poor, silly, dear! It was just a debate! Did you really think I was serious?"
All delivered with a condescending, tight, little smirk on her face. The same kind adults sometimes give to children when the children are being earnest but ultimately saying something silly, and the adults don't wish to laugh at them.

Hillary has gone mainstream. She isn't the exception anymore but instead has become the rule. Why listen to a speech or debate if you know everyone involved is lying?
As for a better alternative to Kamala, look at all the rest of the people who ran for the nomination. Don't limit yourself to skin color or gender. They were all pretty horrible.
And that isn't just an issue with the Democrat party. Look at the 2016 Republican lineup. There were a lot of candidates then too. And most of them not too desirable.

Conan's not kidding about Kamala's entrance into public life. As Sailer put it, "She learned politics under California Speaker Willie Brown."
This podcast is a serious look at how Harris and Obama came to national prominence, and why.
The next time someone asks me for evidence that validates creationism I'll point out the Brown and Kenosha ballots in Wisconsin.

"In the states that haven't finished, it looks like Trump enjoys the lead in the states with the most electoral votes, so I would say Trump's got this."
This is not the kind of election you want to call on the basis of the information you presently have.
If Biden had crossed 270 by the evening of November 3rd before many states started processing/counting mail in ballots the race would be over.
Trump having a "lead" in some swing states prior to the mail in votes being counted doesn't tell you very much.
As it stands, that "lead" already disappeared in states like Wisconsin and Michigan.
238+6+10+16=270
Trump needs to hold PA, NC, and GA plus convert either WI or MI to win at this moment.
If nothing changes from the current electoral map Biden already wins... if he were to manage to pick up PA, NC, or GA it would just be extra.
We're not going to know the final results for a few days but to be honest it isn't looking good for Trump on the basis of the electoral map and the demographics of the votes yet-to-be counted.
Trumps "path to victory" at this stage would likely involve at least one of two dubious efforts. The first would be trying to get legal votes already counted somehow dismissed by the judicial branch as well as preventing the completion of the vote count going forward. The second would involve trying to get state legislatures to change how electoral votes are cast after the election is already over.
Needless to say we've not seen either of these two "strategies" employed before because of how very extreme they are and the corrosive effects they would have on our form of government.
We'll see how this all unfolds.
If nothing else it is going to be interesting.

Commenters on the tweet sounded pretty sure the votes will break their way (meaning Democrats' way). That sounds pretty reasonable.
I wonder how they'll react if they don't?
By the way, don't you think the words "despot" and "authoritarian" are tossed around a little too glibly these days? Holy dramarama!
