Not a link but my whine for the day: They disconnected the cable TV in the gym I go to, and went to antenna-only. So now, while us guys (and it is mostly guys) work out, we get to watch the likes of Vanessa Williams and Dr. Phil. Lately they don't bother turning the TVs on anymore, which is actually an improvement.

Cutting cable? Maybe that's a sign they're losing money, and it's time to look for a new gym?
By the way, it took some explaining to get my kids to understand what broadcast TV is. And when I told them about this old TV we had growing up that had only a VHF tuner, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Airmen at Yokota Air Base in Japan were in for a big surprise one Friday as they came in from a night on the town. They were subject to mass drug tests as they came through the gate! It was the whiz quiz for more than 200 troops.
Side note: When I was in the National Guard, a sampling of troops would be tested every drill. It's not a very speedy process.
Good thing they don't do that in civilian life, huh? Oh, wait...
