Members of the mob have often been quite "garish" in their choice of style.
Perhaps, it is a way of letting others know that "we have arrived"?
Oh, and checking out that address on Google maps, street view, the rest of the neighborhood seems quite normal.
Even though the outside of this house seems a bit different from the others, it still doesn't quite prepare you for the gaudiness that is inside.
