Toxic Humanity
Welcome to the toxic fun that is female intrasexual competition.
Women tend to engage in "covert aggression." It isn't *better* than male aggression; it's different. It's what was adaptive for women over evolutionary history. https://t.co/AsqHqpnWF5 https://t.co/X0B7Mf7MQO

More here from my column:
Men -- from childhood on -- tend to be comfortable with hierarchy and openly duking it out for top spots in a way women are not. Women tend to engage in covert aggression -- like with frosty treatment and undermining remarks -- in hopes of making another woman dim her own shine and voluntarily relocate lower down the ladder.

Her impetus for the relationship was a “jealous competition with her half-sister regarding who could have sex with their father.”
Competition indeed.

Men go in packs. Women go in flocks.

Women compliment each other but don't mean it. Men call each other butthead but don't mean it. If two wives are not speaking it can break up a nice social group. If two of the men are not speaking you would hardly notice. The psychology of men is that men know they are stronger as a group (hunting, fighting, building something) and this is true even with other guys you don't care much for. This is not true for women.
