Hex In The City
"Aidan" meets the fugging Wolfman. As Fug sister Heather writes (photo at link):
The mussed, wavy hair, the deeply crooked smile, the awkward and forced machismo of his snug jeans and bow-legged stance, the open shirt, the hasty leather vest, the unbelievably creepy facial hair... Oh, dear God, it's happening: attention-hungry John Corbett is trying to turn himself into Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, and Keith Urban all rolled into one.
Is that the guy who played Carrie's jazz musician boyfriend in SITC? Grody. To the max.

It is. Not wearing well, to say the least.

I think it's time to ship him off to the glue factory.

Oh John, John, John. I was actually rooting for you over Mr. Big. You used to be So. Hot. You still could be if you'd just stop trying to look 25.

Oh, Aidan and Mr Big were nothing compared with Berger. I just ceased to exist every time I saw Berger's adorably scruffy face. He was perfect.

Yep, he was pretty darn cute too. He's in a new series this fall on Fox about hostage negotiators.
I used to hate the cheap trick that the SATC writers always did when they needed someone to breakup for storylines...the up-until-now-mostly-nice-guys would start acting really weird. They did it with Steve before Miranda broke up, they did it with Aidan (he suddenly becomes very possessive and wants to get married right away) and they did it with Berger.

"the up-until-now-mostly-nice-guys would start acting really weird."
Experience from my own romantic life strongly supports that particular narrative device.

In the beginning I always seem to see/want to see their "weirdness" as endearing or charming, thinking if I kiss the frog hopefully he will turn into a prince, but then I smell the toad and think, "What an effin' weirdooooooo..."

Emotionally distant men make my clit hard.
