Out of interest, why aren't you linking directly to Pat's video, which is at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3_qelW5qp4
The person you are linking to is STEALING Pat's content and also his ratings. I've reported the theif to Youtube.

Sorry, wasn't aware there were "ratings" or that there was such a thing as thieving somebody's YouTube vid. I saw this on Jihadwatch, and copied the link after I watched it.
Perhaps you can explain this better.

PS His website, PatCondell.net, is down, so I can't e-mail him about this. If you have an e-mail address for him, please send it to me at adviceamy at aol dot com, and I'll look into this. Thanks.

Evil, self-righteous, blabber-mouth!! How dare this infidel speak of truth!!
I would enjoy watching a video response from some fundy-islama-roids...

Shinobi's link is appalling. Death by Facebook. The "authority" behind it is even more appalling, with the excuse that the website creates strife and should be banned. Allah's anger is eternal! Pat's video has a synchronicity with this. The fear of [practically] everything.

My take (as a frequent YouTuber):
Well, there is something to be said for the number of views, comments, and ratings that you get on your videos on YouTube. And the higher ranked you are, the more views you tend to get. It's a snowball effect. Pat's not a YouTube partner (so he's not getting revenue from YouTube), but it's still bad form for someone else to take Pat's video and repost it on their own channel - especially when it's already ON Pat's channel. I definitely wouldn't go as far as to call it stealing, just kinda rude. Not illegal either because I believe all of Pat's podcasts are released under Creative Commons. The poster attributed the content as Pat's, and linked him in the description.

I just copied a link from a video at 3am -- I didn't do an investigation of the URL, and didn't know to. Also, if his site was up, which it's not, I would link to it.

True. I don't think YOU did anything wrong, Amy. If Pat releases his stuff with creative commons, I doubt he cares whether or not someone else posts his video, as long as they give him credit - which they did - and you did.

YouTube offers an embed code at the site for a reason. Mr. Condell is enjoying the benefits of the networking community because of it.
