You pic is emblematic of one thing I've always loved in pictures which I call "curved symmetry." The line of river, the line of the bank and the streetlights all have the same curve. Yet your POV here has the dominant central line seeming straight. So the curves on the right pull *into* the central line making a kind of faux vanishing point. Very nice.
This picture is raising memories, Amy. Alongside the Seine, they used to have these strange boats for tourists that carried a lot of "illumination". Are they still there?
Been to France several times, last time two years ago in a region called le Vercors. (Extremely beautiful scenery, by the way.) But Paris was definitely longer ago...
Yes, these are the ones, Amy! Just googled the name you gave me and recognized them immediately. When I was in France as a student 23 years ago (oh my, I feel old writing this), I was on a very small budget, so I would have never bought that ride. But I remember that I felt very sorry for the poor folks living alongside the Seine, with these enormous headlights that would their bedrooms into a movie set. Are you in Paris right now? Hope you have a great time! Take more great pictures! (And try the Vercors sometime, it's really worth the trip.)
Come on, how could anyone with a remote sense of humour not like your writing?
By the way, how is it going to be called? (I just took a look at Amazon for an announcement, and they only had your other book listed, the one with your fellow advice ladies.)

"That sentence no verb."
What I meant to say: "would turn their bedrooms into a movie set." I should go to bed immediately.

The book is finished, great! (Will buy it and tell everybody who doesn't want to hear about it.)

Great title! Sounds like the superheroine you are. Can't wait to see the cover ;-)
And now, back to my missed deadline after getting not enough sleep... :-(
