Yes, this is funny. it actually made me think. I mean if you have a veggie friend come over and you take the effort to make a dish for them or understanding, wouldn't it be fair to do the same if your meat eating friend came over to your house!
I think the next veggie friend dinner I go to I am going to cart a huge steak and frying pan with me.

I often do something like this. I confirm the menu at dinner parties, and if it is something I cannot eat, I bring my meal with me (after confirming with the host[ess] of course). It is unreasonable for someone else to attempt to negotiate the labyrinth of dietary restrictions for a single meal, especially since a mistake causes me significant health concerns. My MIL thinks that it is funny that I carry groceries with me, but it works!

One for future reference, for sure!

As an omnivore and vegetarian sympathizer, I laughed out loud! Glad you ran this!
Hilarious! I sent it to several of my friends. Something tells me these guys watched a lot of Monty Python as children, and are better off because of it.

Pirate Jo, everyone's better off having watched a lot of Monty Python. This also reminded me of Sweeney Todd, because of the cat thing. Those guys better be fast, because, ad Mrs. Lovett put it, "pussycats is quick."

Okay, that should be "as Mrs. Lovett put it." Sorry, guys.

I'm a vegetarian and I think this is hilarious! I'm sending the link to my vegetarian sister and friends.
