That's entirely true. And one thing that people who have unrealistic expectations about the Arab states making peace with Israel don't realize is that they've never made peace with each other. How long did the United Arab Republic last? A year?

I first concluded around 15 years ago that we WILL have nuclear war with the Muslim nations. Nothing stops those guys.
And, Israel well understands that fact. When Israel was formed, nations around them said, "We will never rest until the last man; woman; and child in your nation is dead."
I think to be fair at least one nation has backed off. But, the others are still saying it.
And, they send in bombers and kill men; women; and children. Then they run back and hide in a kindergarten, and the Israels plant a block buster right in the middle of the kindergarten, which takes out a bunch of future terrorists as well as the current terrorists.
Israel has no choice, except suicide. But, the bleeding hearts conclude, "Bad Bad Israel, killing little kids."
And, every time Israel fights back and starts winning, the world screams, "Truce. Truce."
And, as soon as the shooting stops, the attackers start re-arming for the next attack.
Others may disagree, but that is my opinion.

How true. He's an intelligent person; I enjoy hearing him speak.

That's not a bug for the most leftists, it's a feature. It is my impression that they really believe that if every Jew would just quietly "do the right thing" and die, the islamists would stop being a problem and we could all be huggy bunny friends.

What ele besides terror has the Islamic world created in the last 1000 years?
David H at May 27, 2010 10:43 AM
As an Israeli, I don't take extreme lefties personally - or seriously.
I'm not convinced they hate Jewraelis any more than they hate ANY one or thing that disrupts their self-flattering fantasy worldview.
These people have placed the Arabs on their imaginary A list of sacred victim groups, and moved the Israelis - who back in the 60s were on the A list for being socialist-n-revolutionary - onto the B list.
The result is a sort of "Free Mumia" approach to geopolitics and foreign relations.

What have they ever created?

I find Israel's constant braying about imminent destruction tiresome. Nobody has asked Israel to disarm. What *has* been asked is that Israel stop the colonization of the West Bank.
But that distinction doesn't matter, now does it? Arabs never offered civilization anything and evidently never created anything. These fables, along with the fiction that Arabs are sending waves of human bombs into Israel continue to persist.
Until the real issues surrounding Israel and its neighbors are addressed, there *will* never be peace in the Middle East.

Though people in the region have invented plenty, and exported the pack animals that made Europe and America the wonders they are today, Islam is newer than that.
It's created a world of sex-crazed, frustrated people, who kneecap half their population in an insane, continuous blast of jealousy and self-hate.

If you Google you will find that Israel has closed settlements and pulled back several times. They, and their citizens, have had to move. So why don't they have peace?
Google "Israel land for peace site:advicegoddess.com" and you can see Amy's comments on that. This is a repeat on repeat of bashing Israel for wanting to live.
Also, why were the peace loving Palestinians firing rockets (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_rocket_attacks_on_Israel) into Israel?
Dude, wake up and smell the coffee! Take the red pill! Get a sniff of reality. Roll a sanity check.

I'm pretty sure it was Golda Meir who said that. What a plagiarist that Netanyahu guy is...

"I find Israel's constant braying about imminent destruction tiresome."
800 Million people governed by ruthless mudering dictatorships.
Surrounding a region not much larger than Jersey, with a population of just over 3 million.
And vowing rape, murder, and genocide for 40 years, and attempting a series of wars and intifadas to accomplish exactly that.
And you quip that it is "tiresome" to hear about the hazard?
Guy, what the FUCK is wrong with you???
Robert at May 28, 2010 1:56 AM
Ironically we have the Muslim to thank for Hard Liquor. Shame the bastards could not share in the spoils. The more for us. Waiter rum and coke!
Cheers to Israel!

My, my my. I've often wondered why this topic in particular raises so many voices in foam flecked, obscenity filled rage.
. . . and of course the usual ad hominem attacks.
I wonder no longer. Discussions of race do usually brings out the ugly in people.
For those of you not enraged into such tunnel vision as to preclude your ability to read, I suggest the following . . .

So, railmeat, your chosen example for how Isralies are not any better than those throwing bombs at them and openly for the extermination of every Jew on the planet is to show us a new article?
An articel which highlghts how jews in america(who arent being bombed on a regular basis) are traeted by those jews how support Isreals actions in it own defence.
And how are the disenting jews treated by the majority? They have WORDS used against them, oh the horror, the absolute horror of words, oh what ever shall they do?!?!
Becuase words and murder are the same fucking thing arent they? Jackass
lujlp at May 29, 2010 8:53 AM
railmeat, you called 40 years of calls for and attempts at GENOCIDE, RAPE, and MURDER "tiresome" to hear about? And you are shocked that we're not being extra NICE to you?
Dude, I'm not NICE to people who trivialize that kind of shit. And nobody with any sense WOULD BE. I wouldn't be NICE to Pol Pot, I wouldn't be NICE to Mao ze Dong, and I'm sure as hell not going to be NICE to somebody who trivializes their horrors or those like them.
Now, far as the west bank goes.
Use your head and pull up this little tidbit of information.
What is the range of the rockets used by terrorist organizations in the area? Now how far is it from the west bank to the nearest population of Israeli civilians?
Its called a buffer zone.
And before you weep over the poor poor palestinians and cruel cruel Israel, try looking up: Syrian massacre palestinians.
