Cheap Reads
100 Kindle books that are $3.99 or less at Amazon.
My search window on Amy's Mall is broken -- just going straight to Amazon, no credit for me (thanks, Amazon!) -- but should be fixed soon (have an email into Amazon).
So, here's a link to a working search window that actually credits me for your purchases, which I truly appreciate, supporting the work I do on this blog.

Playing both ends against the middle, Amy? Yesterday you were railing against Amazon for gathering data about how you utilize your Kindle and giving that information to publishers; I seem to recall you thought it was an invasion of privacy.
Today, however, you are advocating the use of such devices, devices which put extra money in your back pocket.
Which will it be? Invasion of privacy or profit center?

Like most people, I didn't take three days out to read the huge contract Amazon puts out with their Kindle reader. My dad always told me to read everything before signing it -- so my bad -- but I think it's unexpected for most people (as it was for me) to find that Amazon is doing this. (I'm guessing not one person here has read the entire contract on Kindle books, Apple software, etc.)
I'm not happy about this privacy suck, no. Am I going to stop reading or recommending Kindle books because of this? No.

Oh, please. If I really wanted to make money, this would be an ad for electronics, like Mike Eades $429 SousVide Supreme (discounted from $499 for Amazon purchasers!).
I simply like books and like people who read and like to encourage it. I got a promo in my email for this this morning and I just threw up a link to it. For a $3.99 book, I get a kickback of...drumroll!...18 cents. Wooooo! Bel Air, here I come! (Bel Air trailer park, if they'll take me.)

I have to pimp the SousVide Supreme, too. I never liked steak until we made on in this.
