Got Some Props For My Look Yesterday
This is cool, considering I'm a Yankee out in the rain in Paris, wearing clothes I bought off eBay and at the Santa Monica Salvation Army for a song.

Love the lipstick! What brand/color?

MAC -- Russian Red.
It's fantastic. Stays on really well, and it's so vibrant, I can wear only that -- no mascara; no eye makeup.

Oh wonderful. I will bac 2 Mac for it.
(FYI ladies MAC has this wonderful program where you take back used up MAC makeup containers and get a free lipstick or eyeshadow)

Also, my friend Ruth Waytz turned me on to their liquid eyeliner. The one in the pot.
But, you don't need their brush, which is very expensive. I use a cheap, shorter one (more control) from a discount beauty supply store.

Are all Parisian women jealous when Miss Alkon deplanes at Orly?
Why yes. Yes they are.
And with good reason.

@ Ms Alkon: I like your style. You look good.
Women... You'll wear anything, right out in public, and feel perfectly good about it. Every one of you is an artist, and every one your own work of art; all your flamboyant colors and styles and clothes; a thousand kinds of shoes: your creative hair styles and colors; your makeup and jewelry and ornamentation. Add your lovely voices, a little attitude and a smile, and I am enchanted. God bless you all.

Looking good Amy!
Amy- what's the site you go to for discount eye glasses?
Eric at November 24, 2012 9:30 AM
Salvation Army or not, that's a terrific ensemble.

I'm going to take a wild guess that you have no adult onesies in your wardrobe.

You look great, Amy! I love thrift store shopping, used to be the only kind I could afford, now I go because I love finding wonderful bargains on awesome clothes you would never find anywhere else!
If you are looking for great makeup at bargain basement prices, I highly recommend http://www.eyeslipsface.com/. I use their products every day, they have awesome brushes, mineral makeup, deals like free shipping and sales all the time. You can get makeup brushes for as little as a buck a piece! I love ELF cosmetics, it's a great brand at a great price.
I save my MAC and Urban Decay for special occasions, but really, you can use ELF for those, too.

Oh, Haute couture! - look out Paris, the Goddess has arrived!
(for some reason Bette Midler's 'I'm beautiful, damn it" is popping into my head)
