Apparently, being a successful movie director means that you get to make pronouncements about how we should all live, but exempting yourself.
Keeping gas prices high should keep those goddamned peasants off the road, keeping the traffic light, for the more important people. Like him, for instance.

I seem to remember that the late Dennis Weaver DID really live with less - at any rate, he was very good about not generating a lot of trash.

Is he allowed to? I checked wiki and his not an American citizen. He is Canadian. He had the chance to, but he did not want? So he is allowed to donate to defeat a Californian proposition?

The references were to California Prop 23, which would have repealed the California global warming laws.
Quite frankly I think Californians need to learn that their state legislature is filled with idiots and either vote them out or bail.
You can keep the 60% of liberals that voted for it.

The one enviro-leftist in Hollywood who walks the walk is Ed Begley Jr. I don't necessarily agree with him, but I have to admire him for that.
