"Fucking Conjugate"
Samuel L. Jackson thinks President Obama needs to work on his grammar, writes Tanya Ghahremani at Bustle.com:
On President Obama's habit of dropping the 'g' off the end of some words in an effort to sound more relatable to the American people:First of all, we know it ain't because of his blackness, so I say stop trying to 'relate.' Be a leader. Be f***ing presidential. Look, I grew up in a society where I could say 'It ain't' or 'What it be' to my friends. But when I'm out presenting myself to the world as me, who graduated from college, who had family what cared about me, who has a well-read background, I f***ing conjugate. On Django Unchained and the n-word:
These 20-somethings can't turn around and tell me the word (n-word) is f***ed-up in Django yet still listen to Jay Z or whoever else say '(n-word, n-word, n-word)' throughout the music they listen to. You can't have it one way and not the other ... I now want the phrase "I f***ing conjugate" (without the stars) on my gravestone, because that is the best thing I have ever heard.
I heart me some SLJ!

I do, too!
PS On a grammar note, I stopped saying, "Me, too," thanks to my grammar ninja, David Yontz, who copyedits my column. (I used to think I was some grammar natural until he started editing me, and suddenly, there were mistakes nobody else used to pick up in my column.)
Anyway, "Me, too" is like saying, "Me do, too!"
I learned that from his podcast, which I love.

Yeah, let's not forget.... SLJ was one of Obama's biggest supporters both publicly and financially. He threw him a massive fundraising party and also donated to his campaign. Sorry, but he's not exactly the voice of reason for me on this. Unless he's also going to apologize for his support....

Be a leader. Be f***ing presidential.
SLJ as true as those words are, you have to remember that with them comes another word: responsiblity.
Which is the last thing the Deflector in Chief wants.
Ambassador killed at his post? not my fault!
Partial government shutdown? not my fault!
Unemployment is still high? that's Bush's fault!
Osama is dead, GM is alive? oh, yes, I claim that!

Got to agree with Sabrina on this one. The whole dropping the G's is just pure politics. Changing speech patterns when talking to different groups of people, or different ethnicities.

The "voice" in which a book is written is as distinctive as an accent.
Mr. Obama didn't write the books with his name on them. To put it another way - the content may have been suggested by him, but the expression of the ideas isn't in his voice at all.

The Kenyan-born socialist drops his Gs?
He stole that play from my beloved GOP.

"The Kenyan-born socialist "
Hyperbole is a shit sandwich. Some people just eat it up.

"Yeah, let's not forget.... SLJ was one of Obama's biggest supporters both publicly and financially. "
Sounds like he's having some regrets now.
