I'm still friendly with an ex-gf. I sort of expected the split because I was the first guy as she got a divorce and I was fifteen years older than her. We dated for about eighteen months and she was a friend/co-worker before we hooked up, so that helped. There was no real jealousy but I sort of saw the split coming.
But I can see why others act jealously.
