Relationships And The Right To Privacy
I write about privacy in "Good Manners for Nice People Who Sometimes Say F*ck," probably the only manners book ever to quote Brandeis and Warren's 1898 Harvard Law Review article on the subject.
People have a tendency to believe that being in a relationship means they get unfettered access to their partner's everything. They're wrong. Also...:

Reminds me of the columns you wrote on snooping. I wonder if these people who are so into spying on everything their partner does -- reading emails, checking cell phone logs, etc. -- realize that it's a two-way street? Or do they imagine that only they, not their partners, get to do this?

"When we point a finger at someone, we point four fingers at ourselves."

Thats a net trick. Was that said by a five fingered man?
Cause other wise when you point a finger you point three at your self and the the thumb at a 90 to 15 degree angle to the side

"When we point a finger at someone, we point four fingers at ourselves."
Actually, it's three. Try it. Honest.

Gack. Luj beat me to it and I didn't see.
I ... just ... didn't ... see! (End Shatner impression).
