I Got A Little Busy Feeling Smug, And Then...

Don't forget what a great Christmas gift my book "Good Manners For Nice People Who Sometimes Say F*ck", will make for all your asshole friends -- and all your well-mannered ones who enjoy a good read. (The above link is to Amazon; here's the one at Barnes and Noble.)
By the way, Library Journal gave the book a starred review: "Verdict: Solid psychology and a wealth of helpful knowledge and rapier wit fill these pages. Highly recommended."
Orders of the book (new only, not used!) help support my writing and keep me from eating out of a Dumpster. Yay!

Great idea. Will be sending one to my sister in Florida.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, smug, smug to you! I don't care about football, either, and I don't wear mascara. Smug, I say to you! Smug, smug. And smug again.

Good reminder, even though the football and the mascara bits would be reversed with me...

Well, you can stand in solidarity with the Washington Redskins. They don't care about football either.
Though, as far as I know, none of them wear mascara.

Hah, marion!
And Old RPM, never be too sure. (I have cross-dressers write to me with some frequency.)

Hah! I love both football and mascara!

This reminds me of the stuff I've heard of the years because I've played video games since my dad had a pong system in the late 70's.
Or that something like twitch.tv exists. Granted, I don't watch others play a game, I'd rather play it myself.
But I've heard people over the years wonder why I'd "waste so much time" playing games. At least when playing a game I'm usually using my brain and it takes hand/eye coordination. It seems like so much more of a waste to sit there watching a bunch of spoiled prima-donnas get paid crazy amounts of money to play a sport.
My desire to play said games drove me into learning everything I could about computers and eventually lead to a very lucrative career too. The odds of that happening are a lot better than the odds of becoming a professional athlete.

"Well, you can stand in solidarity with the Washington Redskins. They don't care about football either. "
Zing! Although they have nothing on the Raiders. Or, for that matter, the entire NFC South.
