*face palm* The poor guy got cleared not once, but twice and someone initiated a petition drive to have him barred from his campus. So he decided to punch back twice as hard, and sued his accuser for $500K for publishing false statements on her social media accounts.
He also got an injunction against her for those statements, and the injunction orders her to remove those past statements, and to refrain from making new ones.
Reading the tea leaves: chance of the lawsuit's success is high. The judicial branch is generally loathe to engage in prior restraint of speech.
