I haven't watched any of downton abbey, but I just found out that the pirate in Doctor Who's The Curse of the Black Spot is Lord Grantham.
So The Curse of the Black Spot is available on Netflix, it's a fun, mostly self-contained Doctor Who episode with perhaps a different side of Hugh Bonneville.
