Now, I thought this here yonder would have something meaningful to say about blogs and twitter, etc., but consider this:
[T]he idea of diaries or journals as private things — which their owners hide underneath a mattress or keep in a secret place under lock and key — is a fairly new one. As recently as the late 19th century, it was common for people to read each other’s journals as a way of catching up with what they had been doing, and in many cases this was done with the author of the journal taking part in the discussion. In that sense, journals were a mix of private and public, in much the same way that social media is.
The best of these new technologies seem to stack up beside each other nicely. Blogs may not be the stepchild of a Y2K orgy that they seemed to be when Facebook and Twitter took off a few years ago... Sites like Amy's may be both as futuristic (and eternal) as it gets.

And while we're at it, here's Audrey Hepburn in the same movie, très artistique et très belle.

Has anyone heard about the move to drop the DUI to a .05 level?
My question:
My question that they carefully have avoided. They avoided it in the .10 to .08 debate. And they are avoiding it now. The question is how many people have been convicted of accidents, deaths, etc. at a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) between .081 and .999? How about a BAC between .051 and .079?
I bet it is virtually zero. So how will lowering the limit help?
